Jonathan Polon
President, Co-founder, SEB Analytics

Jonathan Polon currently serves as the President of SEB Analytics Inc. He is responsible for thought leadership, as well as identifying and implementing opportunities to leverage data and data science to improve business processes and outcomes for the SEB Group of Companies and the customers of its Benefit Division.

Prior to this, Mr. Polon was co-founder and Chief Analytics Officer of an analytics consultancy, specializing in life and health insurance verticals. He has extensive experience in applying data science to solving business challenges for several leading insurance companies in North America and abroad. Mr. Polon is widely recognized within the life and health insurance industries as an innovator and developer of novel mathematical approaches to healthcare fraud detection, life insurance underwriting, disability claims management and intercompany benchmarking.

Mr. Polon is a graduate of the University of Michigan and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. He is a frequent presenter at industry meetings and has authored several publications on the development and implementation of predictive models for life and health insurance.
